By the way, if you're a baseball memorabilia collector, you definitely need a guide book. You don't want to risk paying way too much for something. Dan Zachofsky's Handbook for Collecting Baseball Memorabilia is a good source for information on baseball memorabilia and collectibles, along with their market values and going prices. The Standard Catalog of Sports Autographs is a popular value guide for autographed memorabilia.

If you collect baseball cards, you want the annual Beckett Baseball Card Price Guide. For the latest updates, you should subscribe to Beckett Baseball Card Monthly magazine.

You might also want to check out Sign This by Tom Bunevich. I understand it's entertaining even if you're not a serious autograph collector.
